Terms of service
Last updated: Sep 14, 2026
What this service is
We provide access to third party AI models — including but not limited to Claude, GPT and Gemini — through a single API, billed in Indian Rupees. You top up a prepaid wallet and are charged per request, based on actual usage.
Pricing
Prices are calculated as the model provider’s real published rate, converted to rupees at the exchange rate we apply — currently ₹101.24283 to the dollar — plus our service margin, currently 9%. Your exact cost per request is shown on your Cost dashboard.
The exchange rate we apply is not the mid-market rate. It is the European Central Bank reference rate with a 5.1% currency conversion fee added — the fee our card issuer charges us to buy the dollars we pay the providers in, passed through at cost and not retained by us. The margin is then applied to the converted amount, so the two compound: the total cost of using the service, measured against the mid-market rate, is currently 14.56%. Both figures are stated on every public page of this site, and every one of them reads them from the same stored values that price your requests, so a figure quoted anywhere here cannot drift from the one you are charged.
Prices may change if the underlying provider changes their rates. We do not retroactively change the price of a request you have already made.
Payments and wallet
Minimum top-up: ₹100. Top-ups must satisfy or exceed this minimum floor to be settled to your developer balance.
Payments are processed via PayU — by UPI or netbanking. A top-up is credited to your developer balance when PayU confirms the payment.
Wallet balance is consumed on real-time usage. We do not operate as an escrow institution or hold customer funds as a long-term stored balance.
Zero-balance blocking: If your balance reaches ₹0, further requests return HTTP 402 / Insufficient Balance and are suspended until wallet replenishment.
Refunds
Wallet top-ups are non-refundable, except where we are unable to provide the service to you for reasons attributable to us, or where applicable law requires a refund. To raise such a case, write to krishchoudhary300@gmail.com from your account email. Each request is reviewed individually; an approved refund covers only unused balance you paid for, is returned to the original payment method, and is net of any non-recoverable payment gateway fees.
Once a request has been made and successfully executed, that consumed portion of your balance is strictly non-refundable — the computational expense has already been settled with our upstream providers.
Unacceptable use
You may not use API VERSE services or endpoints to:
- Generate illegal content, hazardous materials, malware, or content that violates the published acceptable use policies of upstream model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google).
- Resell or sublicense programmatic access to this API without prior express written permission from VERSE leadership.
- Circumvent rate limits, concurrency controls, or wallet billing — for example, provisioning distributed duplicate accounts to evade abuse detection or anti-fraud telemetry.
Violation of these acceptable use stipulations may result in instantaneous account suspension and credential revocation without refund of remaining wallet balances, exercised at our sole discretion.
Service availability
We rely on third-party infrastructure and foundational model providers to deliver this routing service. While our engineering team works diligently to ensure fault tolerance and ultra-low latency, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for outages, server degradation, or upstream provider maintenance windows.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, API VERSE and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from your usage of or inability to access this service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect product enhancements, statutory adjustments, or infrastructure updates. Continued use of the API VERSE endpoints after an amendment constitutes authoritative acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
